Eric's Saga

Eric kept building the deck even as the weather grew colder.

which, as it turns out, was a mistake...

because he then had to check in to the icu

but they at least figured out that he blew a hole in his esophagus so a couple of "quick" surgeries later

we kept trekking on and kept maeve busy (she was a mega trooper for this whole ordeal)

and Randy came out to help!

and finally Eric came home!

juuuuuuuust to have to go back to the ER

but don't worry, it was nothing! We even made it to the Dayton Brick Store!

where we got many legos

and we got to spend Christmas together.

and Richard came out to help and watch sportsball with Maeve.

and Randall and Richard convinced Eric to pour whiskey in his feeding tube...

it's been a whirlwind of excitement (not all of it good) but we're here and thrilled to be in February 2025! (mostly cause dec/jan was such a shit show)
