You would be 67 today. I miss you more than you can know. I try to live every day as you would want me to. To be kind and love everyone. I try my best but often I do not succeed. I often think of what you'd say to me and how hard I would roll my eyes at you. I miss that too. I want you to know that Maeve is growing and developing every day. I want you to know how much I love you and how much love I pass on to her. You would be so proud of her! She's starting to give that payback you were so dearly looking forward to.

We continued the family tradition of Mongolian BBQ and went to BD's, which you wanted to do every time you came but we somehow never made it there. Today we went there to remember you. To honor you. and to keep you alive in our hearts. Maeve was delighted, she got to make a big ole mess of her peas. Tonight we'll eat coconut cake and remember the sweet times we've had. I love you and I miss you so much but more than that, I wanted you to know your granddaughter and for her to know her Gma. She'll know you through our memories, stories, and love.
