Saying goodbye to Pandu

Sadly, on April 3rd, 2018 while preparing to mourn the one year passing of Stef, Maeve got loose from her play area and into Pandu’s space. This resulted in a quick bite to her face. Fortunately there was no real or permanent damage done and Maeve continues to be in high spirits. This unfortunately led to Pandu ending his great 8 years of life with the Modos/Nees family.
We adopted Pandu as a puppy when we lived in California.
And quickly he began to grow to be quite the rambunctious and curious boy.
And we had fun with him... Maybe a little too much fun?
Pandu has had many great adventures like going to Yosemite (and even seeing areas that are typically off limits to dogs thanks to Lacey’s blatant use of loopholes),
His adventures included hiking all over California, Oregon, and Washington. And he just LOVED camping!
He saw Crater Lake and hiked along the Columbia river at a few popular locations including Multinomah Falls.
He even got to ride a steam train through the snowy mountains!
Pandu loved the beach almost as much as he loved camping... He went on so many adventures everywhere from the beach to the mountains of Colorado.
And after many years of love and care (mostly against his will)
And he got a chance to say goodbye to some of his peoples that he has taken on into his pack.
We had one last great adventure...
Before finally having to say goodbye forever.
I love you Pandu. You're my number one boy. I will always love, cherish, and remember you. You're in my heart forever.
